Rankwyn’s own audit engine. The analysis path uses no third-party SEO or AI services.
First-party fetching
Each page is fetched as Googlebot and as a normal browser, optionally rendered in Rankwyn’s own headless browser. robots.txt is respected, and requests to internal addresses are blocked, including through redirects.
171 versioned, evidence-tagged checks
Indexability, head tags, URLs, headings, content quality and intent, topical relevance, E-E-A-T and trust, keyword use, images, internal and external links, structured data (against Google’s rich-result rules), performance, canonicals, spam risk, social tags, industry packs and AI-answer readiness. AI-answer readiness is a separate score, never blended into the SEO score.
Scoring by page type
14 page types with their own scoring profiles. Hard caps apply when a page can’t be indexed, renders differently from its raw HTML, or looks spammy.
Approvable fixes
Every failure becomes a fix you approve or reject.

Topical map
Topic clusters, pillar pages, keyword cannibalisation with a recommended winning page, internal-link suggestions with the sentence to place each link in, and content gaps against competitor pages you choose.

A whole-site view of structure and content.

Search Console overlay
Optional, with your own account. Fixes on high-traffic pages rank higher, top queries become each page’s keyword, and it flags low click-through rates and demand gaps.

Ecommerce, SaaS, local business, real estate, publishers, agencies and documentation sites, including India-market checks (cash on delivery and returns, RERA numbers).
Server-log analyzer
How Google, Bing and AI crawlers actually crawl the site, with real crawlers confirmed by DNS, and wasted crawling found.
Calibration
Tests the scoring weights against your own Search Console results: pre-registered hypotheses, matched page pairs where half get the fix and half are held back, measured lift with confidence intervals, and a weight update you approve. Re-proposed every quarter.
Fix outcome metrics
Time to first approved fix, adoption and confirmed-resolution rates, the share of fixes that apply automatically, and a “This result is wrong” button that tracks false alarms per check.
